Linear MicroSystems, Inc. (LMI) is a fabless semiconductor company that develops and manufactures the industry’s most advanced and complex ASICs and SoCs, for analog, mixed-signal, digital, and RF applications.
LMI’s design and management team has been working together in the ASIC business for over 20 years. We strive to position ourselves as a “captive ASIC division” that provides all of our customer’s ASIC needs. Simple Engagement Model
We make your life easy by offering a simple and flexible way of doing business with us. Whether you provide a simple block diagram or a comprehensive chip specification, we will quickly provide a detailed quotation to you at no cost. You tell us how you want to work with us. You can perform the design, participate in design or even in physical layout. Of course, we offer full turnkey service – most of our customers prefer this approach – where we perform all development activities. In all cases, we perform the production test development and supply production units.
Platform Architecture
Using our SoCFLEX™ platform architecture and development methodology, the Company creates highly integrated SoCs rapidly that work “right the first time”.
SoCFLEX™ allows our engineering team to craft high performance ASICs and SoCs quickly using our vast analog and digital library of cells. These cells can be customized to meet the most stringent specifications.

Our team consists of experts in analog, digital and RF analog circuit design – no ASIC or SoC is too difficult for LMI.
Our team is diverse and are experts in low power, low noise, high frequency, RF, and high power applications.
We draw on a vast internal library of Intellectual property and standard cells to shorten development schedules and to minimize risk.
We feature BiCMOS and SiGe processes from industry leading foundries; from deep submicron for high speeds and high density to trench-isolated SOI processes for high voltage applications.

We perform all production testing in-house – this enables LMI to ensure high quality and high performance at the lowest possible cost and shortest lead-times.
We offer a full range of packaging solutions, including bumped and bare die, QFN, BGA, LQFP/TQFP, DIP, SIP, and CSP options.
